Palm Controlled Machine

Hello! In this solution we will be showing you a very interesting application of our interface with a Palm Reader peripheral.

Needed

Palm Reader
MDB-USB Interface
Raspberry Pi
MDB Pi Hat
Any vending machine (in this case we are using a coffee machine)

Note: Raspberry Pi + MDB Pi Hat are being used in Slave Mode so we can log and monitor the information on the MDB Bus.

Connect your machine’s MDB Bus to our MDB-USB Interface and to the palm reader controller via USB. This controller needs no programming done, just a simple configuration.

The machine is waiting for credit. Instead of inserting money or presenting a credit card or mobile phone, simply place your palm above the reader. The palm reader controller scans your palm and approves payment. And Voilá! You can now choose your product!
