Description

The Counter PoE is a multiple input counter based on the Barionet 400 by Barix.

Without any additional cost, all recorded data is pushed to a cloud server provided by Qiba, where you can visualize data, pull it or configure your device. Simultaneously, you can integrate this device with your local server without internet connectivity!

The captured data can be pre-processed and transmitted to higher-level systems via any network (LAN/WiFi/BLE/2G/3G/4G/NB-IoT/M1/Zigbee) using common and secure protocols (HTTPS, JSON, MQTT, etc.). A high level of security is guaranteed due to the possibility of encryption and optional independence from the physical corporate network (mobile USB adapter required).

A simple adaptation to special needs can be carried out by the customer via configuration and simple scripting or supported by Qibixx. The Barionet product family has been in use worldwide for over 15 years in the field of IT automation and IoT.

It offers 4 digital inputs allowing for the connection of 4 sensors to the device. Because it counts pulses on an input, it can be paired with any kind of device that uses this interface method, such as:

• IR proximity sensors
• Any kind of contact closure or buttons
• Water Flow meters
• Externally power input
